Music Video - Alexis Blue
The up and coming band, Alexis Blue decided to release a new 5 track EP album entitled '(Sir Ian)³' and to coincide with this release we filmed and produced the video for one of the songs from the album. The song - She's not a cookie cutter princess was written by the band and is about the same girl being everywhere Andeh (the lead singer) goes, until out of the blue he sees a girl who is different from the rest hence - She's not a cookie cutter princess.
We sat down with the band who we had previously worked with on another project to work out a story based around the song lryics. We came up with tons of ideas and then edited them down to a script we could work with and within the small filming budget we had. We scouted out the best locations and sought the filming permissions needed for the different scenes such as the beach, a pub and a shop and we used drama students for the actors along with the band members themselves. Most of the filming for the sub story took place around Liverpool City Centre back streets and we used New Brighton beach for the actual performance by the band which we mixed into the video.
